Useful data. Minimal identity.
Shameless V0.9.3 uses a session-scoped pseudonymous identifier so we can understand how the experience works within a visit. Shameless does not ask for your email address here and does not create a persistent cross-session reader identity.
What is stored.
Interaction events such as choosing a source book, confirming or rejecting an appetite hypothesis, opening a proof target, or reacting to an argument are sent to a same-origin CWADM endpoint and stored as append-only pseudonymous event records. The Shameless collector does not persist your IP address, browser user-agent, email address, phone number, precise location, or account identity.
Free-form book searches can become part of an interaction event because they help us learn which books readers want modeled. The collector rejects an event if the submitted text appears to contain an email address or phone number.
Reader Access is separate.
If you later choose Reader Access on cwadm.com, that is a separate relationship with its own purpose and permissions. Supplying an email there does not silently convert your Shameless session history into an identified profile.
Normal web-server security and access logs may exist independently of the Shameless audience-event store. The audience-event collector itself is intentionally identity-minimized and has no public read endpoint.
